Unless someone's changing the needles for tuning purposes or to install a jetkit, there's NO NEED to ever remove them from the slides. ;)

I love this site. We are suddenly just experiencing this same thing. Seafoam in the gas tank first (about a 1/4 can) is what we did initially. Now, on to the advice above and possible minor carb cleaning again. thanks again for the quality content.

Holy cow 6 years have gone by!!! Anyway long story short my bike has been sitting in my cousins garage this whole time. Last I heard it still has this same problem. Im going to pick it up tomorrow so I wanted to resurrect this thread in case anyone has any other ideas.
