where should i search for a headgasket in the USA to repair my '88 vtr ??

thanks for the lead, but i need to buy one headgasket ONLY, not a whole set of gaskets.

I had posted the current HG part number on here before, I have it in my notes somewhere... will take a look. I order them with ease, locally

These are what I used, you may need to punch a few extra holes depending on the year you have. Actually, probably not because the '88 has external oil feed lines.

they say it's for MC33 but Ok on a '89 MC15, so i hope they're right. :shock:

The only difference is for oil passage, internal '89-'90 oil routes need to pass through the head gasket. You have an '88 right, should be fine, just overlay your old one to make sure. I have used a gasket punch to modify mine before, I made a few coolant holes bigger.
