Wild fire near me

The name says it all...

Wild fire near me

Postby John Hilmer » Tue Sep 27, 2016 4:49 pm

Folks,

There is a wild fire near me and of course the winds are a driving force. Things are changing wind wise so I've no clue what will happen to this Loma fire in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties in California.

If I go missing for a while you will know why.

Folks,

Thanks for the concern and wishes.

So far the wind has been favorable for me, for the most part, and while it still burns it has taken another direction and I'm not currently in the main path. At present it seems that I can sleep tonight and go to work tomorrow.

This could change quickly depending upon the winds and NOAA predicts changes though not specific enough for me to be too concerned yet.
