squirrelman's new VTR

i finally got around to picking this bike up in April, FREE ! My 5th VTR.

found a blown rear cylinderhead gasket, possibly caused by coolant loss due to a bad radiator cap. :o

i may repair the VTR engine but have so many VFR engine projects already that this one will need to wait till next winter.

So, I'm looking at the engine pics and thinking to myself, "how in the world is that a vtr engine??"

been riding over 26 years, lotsa bikes, but this is the first time i had to do a valve job. too poor to send it out to a pro. :cry:

I don’t get it, it’s a V4 engine isn’t it?
