My 1989... getting there

Just put on a center stand I ordered from Yahoo Japan auctions. Also got a Japanese spec tail-light with the integrated turn signals to install at some point, though it will take some doing it appears. And still want to do something different with the front signals as well... other than that I'm about done cosmetically. Thinking about painting the rearsets black... havent decided yet. I love this bike so much now that I'm not taking it apart to fix the carburetors once a week. :D

Probably because it is, its my first bike and when I adjusted the chain the first time after putting on the '88 wheels I had it balanced on a milk crate because I didn't have a motorcycle stand. I'm putting a bunch of stuff on including a chain guard at some point this week so that's also on my list to be adjusted haha

(those washers all over the floor are from stretching out the center stand spring so I could install it  )

in case you haven't tried it, spot, the Hawk centerstand works pretty well on your VTR. ;)

My Hawk GT has been a race bike for 20+ years, hard to say when there was ever a side or center stand anywhere near it ;)

Pretty sure he meant a Honda Hawk (450 IIRC), not a Hawk GT.
Barbie - 89 VTR250 - 6k+, back on the road.
Skipper - 90 VTR250 - 36k+, painted black & white, "ran when parked", upcoming project.
Parts bike - 90 VTR250 - 20k+, "maintained" by idiots, but mostly complete, no title.

I doubt it, since we both have Hawk GTs ;)
