Finished VTR Update

Postby gmonsen » Sun Sep 03, 2017 9:16 am

I bought a very nice 1988 VTR250 in the Ken & Barbie colors. Mechanically, the bike was perfect, but I prefer the 1990 bodywork. Over the past year I found some 1990 pieces and had some repainted and had decals made to match the originals. I kept the inboard front disc. (When everything's working well, don't change it.) I'm not really a "collector", but have 12 bikes all 500cc's or under and the VTR is in my top 3 favorite rides. Starts on the button every time. Seldom even need choke. Spins up like a top. So light and narrow.
