lol. I do recall finding an old guy that could straighten fork tubes & rotors...actually had him do the set of forks on my Superhawk 5-6 years ago..
When the forks came back, they actually were more true than many brand new OEM fork tubes (according to my suspension guy)...he was really surprised by the work that guy did.

I was considering cutting the spacer (?) of the bobbins to make the disc a full floater.
The bend, however, looks to be about 3/4" out of true. It's not just a slight wobble...its a full blown "WTF happened", kind of wobble.

but, I crashed, so I know what happened. lol

AHA

Here he is
http://www.framestraightsystem.com/Moto ... repair.htm

I do recall that this guy had some $ trouble at one point and got behind on work due to a move and then another delay due to divorce?...
there was some feedback on some other forum about him, but my forks were done in a decent amount of time, stoopid straight and no evidence of work done on them.

I think I'll try to contact him about the rotor. I have another set for F4i that I might send down as well, save on shipping.

I have a rotor But I don’t really want to separate it from the wheel I have hanging here unused.

now, you're just rubbing it in...

lol

I called Frame Straight Systems, they are open for business.
I printed out the form and will ship my rotor to him asap.

What is the Honda Racing bicycle you list in your sig? The only one I know of is the RN-01, and they were not available to the public. A bike or maybe two were stolen once from a World Cup race though.

I need to get my pwd for my ftp...but, this is close enough.
not mine, but one very similar.

https://www.ebay.com/i/293033981276?chn=ps

I have always wanted one...We had one at the PD where I work as a lost/found, but it was in pretty bad shape.
Later, I found one in Milwaukee (1.5hr away) for $50 on craigslist. Spent about the same on fuel to make the trip. :)
It's just a huffy-type of bike that had steel rims. The ones on the CL find were bent.
I swapped them out for the aluminum rims from my Walmart Magna mountain bike! Lighter & faster now !!

rotor is back - appears to spin straight! YAY.
$110 for that, and NOW Ron Jon's has a spindle that fits the 1990 rotor. hehe.
no need to fiddle with the bobbins..it's already a semi-floating disc - I dont know what I was thinking before.

ebay forks were straight (thank goodness)! Those were rebuilt a weekend ago, new seals & oil.
I kept my race tech springs inside, but removed the emulators and the drilled damper rods.
One damper rod was tore open from the fork failure. emulators look fine.

caliper cleaned up, new pads installed.

ebay forks went back into bike. wheel & axle started....and....crap. The triples are bent bad.
with bars pointing forward, wheel is doing a moderate left turn.
ebay again....$10 for a set of triples and $15 shipping.

led blinkers on front & rear now. new led-rated flasher ($9) on order.

brake-light pod installed and seems functional.

headlight bucket & windscreen on. hi/low works OK.

new Motion Pro brake lever on.
I fixed brake pedal & gave it some fresh paint.

kickstand on.
race belly-pan needs to be chopped so kickstand will function.

donor mirror on the left is in. I'm missing a right mount because I'm using my Superhawk master cylinder.

I was able to fire it up last night! YAY x2 ! She still runs!!!

ya, I know...after the crash and my race results, I decided I just wasn't going to be able to catch anyone.
They were 10 seconds faster in my first race, and even though I got faster....so did they. lol.

I think my vtr would be great for someone who carries around 50lbs less :) I'm 240 + gear.
I think I lose 7-8hp just in my mass vs some of the younger 180 lb kids out there.
Better still, would be someone tipping the scales at 140-150!

and as a side excuse, my wife quit her job 3 years ago and has been out of work since. It took a real toll on her.
So, we've been pretty short on funds and racing and getting more track time to get faster just wasn't going to happen - and then I had to slowly fund the repairs.

I need to decide now if I should part out the good bits (emulators, Penske shock) or keep them for a future package deal to a potential racer.
